TB Mukto Bangla & Free Cataract Surgery
We are dedicated to combating TB through the TB Mukto Bangla campaign in partnership with National Health Mission and the End TB Programme 2025. We supported the TB-Mukt Panchayat initiative and a new TB preventive therapy. We also provided free cataract surgeries to underserved communities in West Bengal, in collaboration with Lions Club.

Door-to-Door Campaign
We conducted door-to-door TB awareness campaigns in Kolkata slums like Tangra, Maniktala and Tollygunge, identifying potential TB patients and educating the community on symptoms, prevention and treatment.
Screening Program
DTC Group held free TB screening camps in high-risk communities to provide accessible testing for underprivileged individuals.
Linking Patients to NTEP
TB patients were referred to NTEP-run units for treatment, ensuring smooth coordination with health authorities.
Eye Camps in Urban Slums
In collaboration with Lions Club, we held 30+ eye camps in West Bengal slums in 2023, providing free check-ups for 2,000+ patients.
Cataract Surgeries
We facilitated over 300 free cataract surgeries, including post-surgery care and medications.
Holistic Care
Complete post-operative care, medication, and follow-up were provided to ensure full recovery for all patients.
Our TB Mukto Bangla campaign was recognized by the Government of West Bengal for notifying over 3,000 TB cases in Kolkata. We received certificates of appreciation from Dr. Siddhartha Niyogi and Dr. Santosh Kumar Roy for our impact on reducing TB in slum areas.
DTC Group’s free cataract surgery initiative restored sight to hundreds, improving the lives of over 5,000 OPD patients with 30+ eye camps and 1500+ successful surgeries. Our comprehensive care approach, including free transportation and post-surgery medication, continues to make a lasting impact.
